I'm Eric, a weather enthusiest fanatic based in Minnesota.
I'm also a technology professional nerd .

I love learning and writing about weather and seeing that in action while storm chasing .

When home, it's family time...but often you'll find me up late working on a coding or AI project.

This site brings all of those passions together in hopes I can share some of it with you!

I'm based in southern Minnesota.

I am not a meteorologist by trade, but I study some form of weather science every day (not exaggerating).

I have taken numerous courses from universities and the National Weather Service (NWS).

NWS Radar & Applications
Warning Operations

I'm a member of MN MetroSkywarn and have my General (High Frequency) radio license.

I am native English speaking
I studied Spanish for 6 years
I hired a tutor in 2019 to learn Chinese
I'm currently learning German for an upcoming trip
